This fall I’m going to have a tree in my room where the kids can pick different fruits and nuts. I love the idea of just switching it up a little bit to fit the season. I’ll also reshape the tree to be an evergreen in winter and a bush in the spring (strawberries!).

To keep it on the wall, I’m finding that staples work best!
To keep the fruit on the tree, I’m finding I really love Velcro squares.

During orange week, we did some masking art - making a clown fish! We used orange paint in class but I highly recommend using orange marker. The tape comes off much easier. FYI when I do crafts at home my kids DO NOT care! They prefer to play around without me. There’s only a handful of crafts I’ve made that they enjoy. Hi! I'm Laura.

I started working as a teacher's assistant in 2023 and became a lead teacher in 2024. I teach 2 to 3 year olds at a preschool in Austin, Texas. I truly enjoy supporting this age group socially and emotionally, and I try my best to create crafts and activities that reinforce their development.
